tryAccessibilityAnnounce

Try to speak the specified text, for accessibility. Only available on JB or later.

Parameters:

text - Text to announce.

getPulseAnimator

public static android.animation.ObjectAnimator getPulseAnimator(android.view.View labelToAnimate,
                                                                float decreaseRatio,
                                                                float increaseRatio)

Render an animator to pulsate a view in place.

Parameters:

labelToAnimate - the view to pulsate.

Returns:

The animator object. Use .start() to begin.

Convert Dp to Pixel

darkenColor

Gets the colorAccent from the current context, if possible/available

Parameters:

context - The context to use as reference for the color

Returns:

the accent color of the current context

isDarkTheme

Gets dialog type (Light/Dark) from current theme

Parameters:

context - The context to use as reference for the boolean

current - Default value to return if cannot resolve the attribute

Returns:

true if dark mode, false if light.

trimToMidnight

public static java.util.Calendar trimToMidnight(java.util.Calendar calendar)

Trims off all time information, effectively setting it to midnight Makes it easier to compare at just the day level

Parameters:

calendar - The Calendar object to trim

Returns:

The trimmed Calendar object
