What a skill produced: either an immediate text artifact (the Phase-0 shape — the A2A task is complete the moment the skill returns), or a release the skill started, whose live state IS the A2A task from then on.

Release-backed outcomes are the Phase-1 mapping: the A2A task id is the release id, so tracking needs no correlation store, survives restarts by construction, and GetTask always answers from live release state — including TASK_STATE_INPUT_REQUIRED while a gate or manual task waits on a human. Exactly one of the two members is set.
