Interface A2aSkillset

All Superinterfaces:
HostExtensionPoint

public interface A2aSkillset extends HostExtensionPoint
Implemented by a plugin bean whose A2aSkill-annotated methods become skills on Release's A2A Agent Card — contributed at runtime, no restart, withdrawn when the bundle is uninstalled. The A2A counterpart of McpToolset, discovered through the same plugin extension registry; one bean may implement both, exposing a capability over both protocols.

A skill method must be public and have exactly the signature

A2aSkillResult mySkill(String text, Map<String, String> metadata)
where text is the incoming message's concatenated text parts and metadata its stringified metadata. It runs on the server's HTTP request thread under the caller's authenticated identity (bridged host API calls are permission-checked as that caller), with the bundle's classloader as thread context classloader. Throw IllegalArgumentException for bad input — it becomes a failed A2A task with the message as the explanation; any other exception is reported to the caller without internal detail.

Methods whose signature does not match are logged and skipped — never a server failure.
